BOOK A SHARK ENCOUNTER TRIP
Love sharks? So does Mike! Luckily this reef at Lauderdale by the Sea is home to many Nurse Sharks. We generally see a Nurse Shark or two (or more) on Group Snorkeling Trips but if you want to spend more time in the area where they are usually spotted, this trip is for you!
Guests need to be confident swimmers. As with the Group Snorkel Trips, we spend about an hour in the water. Ocean conditions, including visibility and currents as well as guests’ swimming ability, may affect the feasibility of staying in the “sharky” section of the reef. Mike may need to alter the trip for safety reasons. Since we are in open water, Mike cannot guarantee everyone on every trip will see a shark.
